Nippon Ichi Software, sometimes shortened as simply "NIS", is a Japanese video game developer company known for their anime-styled series of SRPGs. Though largely stand-alone, most games appear to be connected in some form through parallel dimensions or some such and crossovers are normal. Most recently, there was even a crossover character between NIS’ Soul Cradle|Soul Nomad (Which also featured characters from other NIS games) and Vanillaware’s GrimGrimoire|GrimGrimoire. Most of the character designs have been done by ryoji_(nomura_ryouji)|Nomura Ryoji and Harada Takehito.
