After lastnight dramatic game (Barcelona vs Inter). We now know the teams playing the Uefa Champions League final in Madrid.

I'll give you that last night's game was dramatic......but it was also a bit of a cheatfest.......with far too much Latin theatricals for my liking.......and the sending off, although a trifle harsh on Inter, not only spoiled what could have been a fantastic game to watch, but actually worked in Inter's favour. There's nothing like a little injustice to get a team riled up and fighting together for a cause.

The final will be an interesting match.....with both managers looking to be the first ever to have won the Champions league with two different clubs.

My money, is on Mourinho and Inter.

Their defence is very experienced...and solid.....and they can score goals too......

However....THAT final is secondary in my footballing thoughts.......My mind is firmly fixed on a Fulham victory tonight against Hamburg at what promises to be a magical night down at the Cottage by the river.

I also think Athletico Madrid will beat Liverpool in the other semi final.

Fulham did great matches in the Europa League and they deserve to be in the final.

 

Platini will be furious that his team will not be in this years final. Inter fully deserved to win.

It's been almost a miraculous ride for us Fulham fans in the Europa League this year......

Look at who we've beaten........Shahktar....the holders of the EUFA Cup......Wolfsburg.....no mugs.......and Juventus...who we gave a good lead to, and STILL beat them!!

I did point out in the 'Football' thread that Fulham have already won it....seeing as they are the only team still in the competition that weren't dumped out of the Champions League after the group stages......

but we don't care.....and we fear no-one.

I shall be sitting by the TV tonight here in Finland.....with a few bottles of Thwaites Lancaster Bomber beer....and cheering on the boys in black and white.
